The Fattoria di Vegi is located in the Chianti Classico hills, seven km from Castellina in Chianti, set high on a hill in a dominant position. It is tucked away amid the green olive trees, vineyards, and centuries-old cypresses.
The farm has belonged to the current owners since it was purchased by a distant ancestor in 1850.
The Fattoria di Vegi comprises several farmhouses surrounded by 109 hectares of land, 58 of which are planted with vineyards, olive groves, and arable farming.
The farm produces a wide range of high-quality wines, like the typical Tuscan vinsanto, an excellent extra-virgin olive oil, and a Chianti Classico grappa. In addition, the farm uses an integrated pest management system for crop protection.
